...who gets problems with Macs that nobody else will admit to getting! The esteemed Jeffrey Zeldman has been documenting his Mac (mis)adventures for years. The latest? Safari and MobileMe conspiring to eat his bookmarks.
The dog ate my bookmarks – Jeffrey Zeldman Presents The Daily Report: It’s been years (or is it weeks?) since something odd, implausible, and inexplicable happened to one or more of my Apple computers that doesn’t happen to anyone else’s. ... My old bookmarks are gone, but the new ones I created on my laptop have not been sync’d. I have no bookmarks. I start re-creating them from scratch, and as I create them, they disappear.
He has also experienced the Apple Stony Silence. OS X 10.5.7 update: unsafe at any speed – Jeffrey Zeldman Presents The Daily Report: Twitter and the Apple forums contain the complaints of users whose computers have gone blooey after installing the update. Apple, of course, does not respond to these complaints.
Macs have problems. Apple products are not perfect. However Apple will not acknowledge this if it suits them to ignore you.
